Chris is the co-founder and CEO of Karousel Music CIC who are a boutique music publisher, a small label, management, and industry showcase and networking hosts. Since 2011 Karousel have provided over 500 showcase opportunities in front of industry where the acts keep 100% of the proceeds, and currently run their regular show in partnership with SESAC and the MMF.


Since 2015 he has acted as the Music Industry Liaison for Help Musicians, where he works to connect industry (eg managers, established artists, labels, streaming services) with, and raise awareness of, the charity as well as spreading the word on the help that’s available to those who need it.
Chris consults to Big Group on events around the Brit Awards, Champions League Final and Mercury Music prize advising on partnerships; sourcing and booking artists for large corporate sponsors including Free Now, MasterCard and Hyundai; and advising on artist focused initiatives. Recent projects include events with You Me At Six, Tom Walker, Public Service Broadcasting, Katie Melua and Jordan Mackampa.
Chris co manages Pat Dam Smyth and Ren Harvieu with Liquid Management, and manages Matt Deighton, The Magic Lantern, Charlie Wood and Mairead Carlin via Karousel.


Chris was an artist and songwriter for 17 years and has recorded 2 solo albums and 2 collaborative albums with Mark E Brydon (Moloko) and Matt Deighton (Mother Earth, Oasis, Paul Weller, solo) as well as a wealth of co-writes including a top 20 record. Chris opened and ran 50:50 Studios in North London in 2005 until 2020, and has recorded, produced or written with one or two of the biggest acts in music, and quite a few of the smallest. He also co-wrote the theme tune for BAFTA-nominated Children’s TV show Floogals!

Chris is a board member for IAFAR (International Association of Artists and Rightsholders).
