With over 12 years of industry experience, Nicola began her career at PPL in various roles within public performance licensing before moving into membership and record label account management, managing majors and independent rights owners. Being a specialist in the area, she later became the record label manager at Kobalt (now Kollective) Neighbouring Rights, helping establish the label neighbouring rights business. After a stint in the distribution world at Proper Music she returned to Neighbouring Rights to join the team at peermusic in a role that sees her signing deals with upcoming and established artists and well-renowned independent labels.
