Stella began her music career as an artist, songwriter and producer at the young age of 16. She subsequently began writing and producing records for other commercial artists in the UK and USA. Those foundational years provided invaluable experience and insight into the industry from the unique perspective of a developing artist and being a female creative in the industry. Increasingly sought by creative niches within the industry for artist and project development, she recently brings her unique skillset and passion for music to Rough Bones Records, a new and exciting boutique, independent artist development hub and management service. Currently a co-chair of AIM's Small Label Committee, Stella is a passionate advocate for the independent sector with a keen interest in creating more opportunities for start-up Independent Labels and artists as well as for minorities within the music industry. She's also an avid lover of the Westend, Wimbledon and Formula 1 sports.
